Matter of convincing


         “Neither had I let people go after being caught, nor had I bribed for a lump sum”, said the Traffic Policeman contemptuously. “Now I am going to take this vehicle to the Station and you may get back yours in a weeks’ time post legal formalities and clearances” he added. The owner scolded himself for being not having the documents for his vehicles. Despite the policeman’s arrogance and pretending of a perfect person in order to grab a high ransom, the owner deliberately started to convince gathering all his skills of convincing. It started with apologizing, carried over with some show off, surpassed by negotiating and finally ended in some sort of bargain. Collectively with a least amount as possible by anybody could, the owner rebounded his vehicle and flew away. Day to day activities in all of our lives, the most important driving factor that led us to keep in the flow of conventional things to happen is by Convincing (either with or without our knowledge).


         There lies convince in every aspect that happen around the world. A business deals with convincing its customers to ride smoothly, a student has to convince a teacher, teacher has to convince the school management and the school management in turn has to convince the parents of its students. Likewise, this loop never ends in any sort of activity carried out by human, thus it profoundly forming the building block of every action of people. “Every action has an equal and opposite reaction”. But this “Reaction” is directly proportional to the convincing skill of the action”. I would also like to reframe Newton’s law for general use as “Every action has an equal amount of some convince concealed behind it”.  Literally, it rules the world without having any kingdom, but around a virtual space with myriad of virtual powers.


            In an interview, a candidate is about to sell himself and he/she is supposed to convince the interviewer, in business concerns, a company is supposed to convince its customer/client (“Customer Satisfaction” – the most repeated and irritating word for employees used in corporate), a guy in pursuit of his girl is supposed to convince that he is her best match, a sportsperson is really supposed to convince his audiences/ fans by his play (otherwise the TV has to bear all those bad words ), a politician is supposed to convince the public of his doings in future (for god sake please don’t ask whether they fulfill or not, but making people to believe make them Toppers in convincing skills), a child has to convince his/her parents, parents has to convince the society that their kid is the best one, writers has to convince their readers, etc. and the list doesn’t ends if I had to extend more and more.


             Nevertheless, the outbound specialist that can disseminate a person’s capabilities, emotions, characters, deportments, miens is his/her Convincing skill or overall I can say a person is well defined completely by the society by his consolidated convincing skills underlying as the background for all things. Once and when he masters in these areas he can be adjudged and perceived as a perfect person to the society where he live in. Moreover it may look hypothetical but can be proved at infinite cases. The world has shrunken into a global village, eventually peoples’ minds too. In order to prove ourselves into this materialistic world, the convincing skill is an indispensable thing. Not only to excel into your materialistic world, even when you need support and derive people to your spiritualistic world, you need to convince and make people understand of the spiritual thoughts and attaining spiritualism.

Gone are the days we left unnoticing this thing as inevitable. Even some of us after thinking about, so many would have tried not hard to execute and excel, without giving specific importance. But expelling the lit of fire at required instances would make your lamps of life to glow in the dark. Hence I would like to cultivate in the minds of my friends to “Develop your Convincing skills (more than your leadership qualities), in order to overwhelm any kind of situation even if it is the worst”. So everything is in our own hands. We are indebted with our sole responsibility to whom we are now and also to be whom are we going to be in future. Think well, Act wise, achieve great and live the life to the fullest of your wishes. All the best and thanks for spending the time to read.
